Breathtaking Halong Bay: Full-Day Luxury Cruise & Cave Adventure

An was a perfect tour guide, veg food wasn’t that great can be improved. Excursion was well organised, Weather was good, pick up was on time. An had good knowledge about the tour.

I went to Halong Bay on 22/6/25, guided by Mr. Milano, who is an English speaker. It is super easy to book tickets using Klook, even 1 day before. Hotel pickup is available if the hotel you staying at is located in Hanoi's Old Quarter. The tour guide will contact you for pickup at the hotel. If not, just call the office number found on Google to clarify. It took almost a 4-hour bus ride from Hanoi to Tuan Chau International Marina with rest stops in between. The bus is clean and comfortable. I feel grateful, as the weather was sunny and hot during the visit; it only started raining while on the bus ride back to Hanoi. Only managed to board the cruise around 1200H and had lunch at the ‘restaurant’ on the cruise. Vegetarian options are available; you just need to indicate that during Klook booking. The food served is a bit plain for me, but I am still able to enhance the flavor with the sauce provided. After the tour, we were served fresh watermelon and green tea. The green tea is not refillable. Nevertheless, you can enjoy the scenery while having meals. No plastic water bottles are allowed on the cruise to prevent littering (unless you bring a water tumbler). Due to the hot weather, I had to spend 30k to buy a beverage on the cruise to quench my thirst. Nevertheless, the tour went well. The tour guide pointed out those famous rocks, like the Fighting Cock Islet and Incense Burner, along the way. The tour guide also gave clear instructions regarding the tour, what to expect, and what to avoid. Have great sightseeing in Thien Chung Cave. My favorite part is being on a bamboo boat, as I am able to enjoy the scenery up close. You can opt to kayak if you are adventurous. We ended the sightseeing around 1600H, and a bus awaited to fetch passengers back to Hanoi.

This was a great way to see Ha Long Bay if you’re in Hanoi. The coach trip is comfortable and has a rest stop. Then you’ll be taken onto the boat trip and will sail around the islands. The food served is authentically Vietnamese and great. You can choose to go kayaking or be taken on a bamboo boat around some water caves, then go on a tour round some dry caves. Everything is very easy - there are steps in the dry caves but nothing challenging overall. I would definitely recommend for solo travellers and groups alike.

Great trip! Do is a wonderful guide!!! We enjoyed the bus ride, the excursion… the food was good and there was a lot! The guide speaks good English and is EXTREMELY friendly. The pick up was in the city centre, no stress, all prepared for us. Highly recommended ❤️❤️

Our guide Lucky Hoi was humorous, kept us engaged in the trip. Due to his high spirit, It was a wonderful trip with many from other nationalities. I didn't feel the 3hours journey there was far. It was super enjoyable. Sufficient rest stops, food in the cruise was better than expected, not forgetting the breath taking scenery as well as the bamboo boat rides. Every detail were taken care to ensure our safety and fun.

Halong bay was very beautiful and it was nice to be able to kayak through some of the water. Robert did a great job showing us around the cave, I loved seeing what all the parts of the cave are said to resemble. I would’ve liked to see more of the actual pearl farming as opposed to the pearls for sale at the first stop of the trip but besides that everything was great.
